Everyone needs a good Electrician…

Do you?

Born and raised in New York City by a blue-collar family, Victor “Vic” Rodriguez is a 2nd generation NYC electrician who was raised with tools in his back pockets. Vic got his start as an Electrical College Helper during his summers at East Stroudsburg University.  In 2010, he completed his undergraduate degree at East Stroudsburg, earning a B.S. in Business Management with a minor in Economics.  Upon graduation, he obtained his Series 7 and Series 63 licenses from a boiler room firm on Wall Street.  But, after deciding that finance was not the career for him, in 2011 he became a Local 3 Electrical Apprentice.

While an apprentice, Victor learned electrical installations from some of the best in the industry during the day and studied electrical theory at night to earn his journeyman status in five years.  Due to his dedication and work ethic, Victor excelled at the trade and was fast tracked to project foreman.  As foreman, he has successfully managed many projects throughout New York City, such as multiple office space buildings throughout Manhattan and other unique projects, including: Louis Armstrong Stadium at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Fordham University, Terminal B at LaGuardia Airport, The New York Aquarium and multiple hospitals throughout New York City.

Despite his success working as a foreman, at the age of 35, Victor decided to obtain his Master Electrician's license and open his own business, One Source Electric.  He looks forward to continuing to serve and build in the city of New York, where he was born and raised.
